Navigating risks and consequences: Emergency management at the centre of global megatrends

When: Tuesday 4 and Wednesday 5 July 2023

Where: Pullman Melbourne, Albert Park

For 23 years, the conference has been a landmark event for the emergency management community. Emergency Management Conference generally attracts more than 500 delegates from agencies, bodies, departments (and individuals!) who have a responsibility, function, role or general interest, in the ‘before, during and after’ of emergencies.

This year’s conference theme is ‘Navigating risks and consequences: Emergency Management at the centre of global megatrends’, and the program reflects CSIRO’s seven global megatrends (External link) that hold the key to the challenges and opportunities ahead.

The program will explore the recent events in Australia and overseas, and will give delegates the opportunity to learn and reflect on the experiences of their colleagues and peers in floods, bushfires, heatwaves, severe storms and cyclones, pandemic, and more.
