The Royal Commission into National Natural Disaster Arrangements hearings resume this week.
Witnesses include former Australian state and territory fire, rescue, and emergency chiefs, and the hearings will also inquire into land-use planning; assurance and accountability mechanisms; and recovery arrangements.
From 10 am, Tuesday 7 July the Commission turns its focus to assurance and accountability mechanisms with witnesses:
